Circuit City at Clay Terrace mall closed this week because it failed to meet sales performance goals, said a company spokesman.
The Carmel store is one of three that were closed nationwide by the national consumer electronics retailer. The others are in Commack, N.Y., and San Angelo, Texas.
"These were three underperforming locations, and this is part of our ongoing effort to try to ensure that our stores are in locations that are profitable,"
