Just a reminder that our Breakfast with Santa is this Saturday. Hope you can come. Santa will now be arriving at 8:30am, and there is also a gingerbread house contest. Dress up and bring your cameras. There are lots of decorations for the perfect picture backdrop.

Mayor, Police Chief, Commit To Enforce ClayTerrace Speed Limits

Just an FYI to neighbors...

I received an email response from the Mayor's Office regarding the recent accident by our kids' bus-stop this week. [See previous post & photo.]

In the mayor's note, he commits to greater enforcement of the speed limit there on Clay Terrace Blvd.

And apparently they're 'on it' already. Just this morning an motorcycle-officer seemed to be writing a speeding ticket at that very corner.

Police Warn Homeowners About Breakins

Accident at Dangerous Corner

This was the scene last evening of a 2-car accident at the corner of Clay Terrace Blvd and Walter St. While no one apparently observed this accident, neighbors say it's very common for cars coming down the grade from Clay Terrace Mall to be speeding as they approach this intersection.

Notice where the white car landed? That's the exact place our kids wait for the school bus each day -- now before dawn breaks.

Wow, the dramatic overhaul is finally done... and available for sale. This is the historic 'Walters Home' -- we'll hope to get some inside photos sometime soon.

Btw, neighbors... the property owner has put out the word... he'd like to have new owners be people that we'd all want there... so he's encouraging us all to help him find the new buyer... and will pay a $500 finders-fee. It's win-win.
